Today Christopher started 1st grade. I think this felt every bit as new as kindergarten. New start time, longer day, lunch at school, and a new teacher. I was holding back tears as I dropped him off. What am I going to do without my helper? He was so excited this morning. He admitted to being a little nervous, too. It'll be fun to hear his report when he gets home.

He's grown up so much! It's funny how much the "first" always affects you. Kirsten, it doesn't seem so hard. I guess we will see. We start on Thursday, and I am ready!
He looks so cute and grown up. I know how you feel. I always dread them going back to school. Today was Thomas' first day of 2nd grade and Spring's first day of Kindergarten. With both being in a new school in a new town it seemed new too but Thomas was so ready to run off. It was fun to hear their excitement when they got home. Hope he had a great first day and that you got by well without his help too!
